Coal Mining Mules Go Hungry in Coshocton

May 1912--Local coal miners were in an uproar and refused to work until mules were properly fed. Miners had previously walked off the job over mule's rights on prior occasions and once again refused to work until the mules were fed. The men complained that mules throughout the coal region were treated poorly.
