Then: Panhandlers Locked Up And Threatened


Feb. 13, 1912--Four panhandlers (it's interesting how many different ways the newpapers referred to homeless people) felt the mayor's sting. They were locked up and told by the mayor to leave town or shovel snow. They left town...in a hurry.
