Coshocton Man Mistaken For Aviator

September 1911--Coshocton resident Glenn Boyd had a high time in Canton when numerous people mistook him for noted aviator Harry Atwood.

Boyd, who resembled Atwood, signed autographs and spun tall tales of his aviation exploits. The Canton News wrote a two column story about Boyd's antics and told of his prank, "Many people met Harry N. Atwood, the "aerial hobo," Tuesday night, complimented him on his flight and asked him many questions, secured his autograph, and the promise of pictures, and then later discovered they had been bilked, for it was Glenn Boyd of Coshocton who entertained them with stories of his flights which he had never made."
