The Shining Revisited

I'll never forget seeing the original movie trailer for "The Shining". When elevator doors opened and waves of blood poured forth, I thought, "Now, there's a movie I want to see." Kubrick did a fine job of creeping out a generation and pissing off another. I know the book was better, and Kubrick left out huge chunks of Stephen King's creepy tome, but it was still enough to twist teenage minds. What more could you ask for?
