July 11, 1911--Nine year old Clifford Wolfe was saved from drowning in the Tuscarawas River. While young Wolfe bathed, he started struggling in deep water. Seventeen year old Henry McCleary, who saw the struggling boy, jumped fully clothed into the river and brought the young boy ashore. McCleary turned young Wolfe over, cleared water from his lungs, and revived him.
