July 11, 1911--A "sensational" raid at the "foreign" colony Warwick mines resulted in the arrest of four men. Mayor Cassingham dutifully handed out $75 fines + costs to two men for violating the Rose liquor law. The third man was fined $5 for carrying a concealed weapon and the fourth man was fined $75, but the fine was suspended after a determination of his non-involvement in the crimes.
