Jayne Call Imler, author of The Cletus Reese Story... Murder Ridge, will appear Wednesday, June 21 at the Coshocton Public Library, 2-4 p.m., to sign copies of her new book ($15.99).
Recently, after perusing old newspapers, I've uncovered additional information about Cletus Reese. July 1924 saw Cletus give a recitation, Flowers, during a Children's Day program at the Mt. Nebo church. In December of 1928, he gave another church recitation entitled, Santa's Arithmetic. More tomorrow.

I'll never be able to look at little kids in school recitals the same way again!
You never know what bubbles behind those little minds.
