May 1906--A medicine peddler from Cambridge found himself locked up for abusing his horse. Residents had witnessed the drunken peddler beating the horse and reported him to authorities. After being arrested and charged, Mr. Horse Beater Peddler Man was fined ten dollars. Finding himself short of cash (no doubt due to his superior peddling skills), Mr. Soon-To-Be-In-The-Stripey Hole Horse Beater Lousy Peddler Man found himself in jail.
