Here's another of those head shaking all time 100 greatest albums list; this one written up by the wags at Time magazine.
I'll not beat up too hard on this list, after all, it is Time. What amazes me is the reliance on listing greatest hits packages as great albums. Take Elvis: 30 No. 1 Hits. How many times has RCA repackaged the same Elvis stuff? Why would this album appear in the 2000 decade? How about another Elvis album, Sunrise? Listed in the '90's, this album is nothing more than a re-packaged Sun Sessions.
The whole list reads like a Rolling Stone magazine's best of regurgitation. The Time list reeks of laziness with very little musical passion.
