Women Claims Husband Threatened To Brain Her

July 1910--Mrs. Belle Bucy petitioned Coshocton courts for divorce citing cruelty and abandonment by her husband.

The couple, married in 1892, had nine children. She claimed two months after their marriage, her husband began to "carry on terribly and called her all kinds of foul names". Also, she stated her husband threatened to "brain her" with a hatchet and bloodied her nose two weeks before the birth of one of the children was born.
