Voting has long been a cornerstone of our country. While politicians are passing laws to protect the flag, what they should be doing is protecting the voting rights of the citizenry.
I suspect the two parties in power have rigged the system to the point that other political parties can never present a serious challenge to the political status quo. But what's even more distressing is the disenfranchisement of numerous voters. Will voting once again become the domain of the rich and powerful?
