Rampaging Porker Attacks Frail Woman

August 1911--Seventy three year old Elizabeth Magnuss fell
victim to a vicious hog attack while searching for a runaway
piglet.

The hog rushed Mrs. Magnuss and pulled her to the ground by biting and yanking her dress. The hog bit her breast and trampled her fragile body. Her screams alerted a nearby neighbor who chased away the rampaging hog. Mrs. Magnuss suffered serious injuries and was carried to a doctor by her neighbor.
