Hospitals Find Profit Niche In Chronically Ill Elderly

A new national study finds that hospitals are draining Medicare resources due to prolonged, intensive care of chronically ill elderly patients.

I guess the government is beginning to understand the severity of the health care crisis. Yes, the politicians are finally seeing a greedy healthcare industry draining the financial life from our country!

Wait, what am I thinking? This will become another reason for "privatization" and getting those old, dying slackers off the government teat. Then, those hard earned tax dollars can be re-directed into corporate welfare programs and additional military spending.
