May 1912--A despondent area woman ended her life by walking into the Killbuck River and drowning. She had attempted suicide on three prior occasions. Despite a history of her mental issues, the family had not been able to prevent the final attempt. Her husband, aware of the impending attempt, watched her closely, but finally succumbed to sleep. The wife slipped out and drowned herself.
