I can only conclude that this unfortunate trend has continued to the present. I moved here a couple of years ago and was surprised at how few walking-distance pubs were in town. Since that time there are two fewer. I must add that I moved here from a college town, so maybe the comparison isn't fair.

ReplyDeleteMaybe, Coshocton could pursue economic growth through a "Pub On Every Corner Program". For centuries, London has fared well with this approach.
