Uncandled Eggs Outlawed

March 1, 1912--Busy lawmakers took unscrupulous farmers to task and outlawed uncandled eggs. Coshocton area farmers were required to candle eggs and check freshness or face fines.

"Psst, hey mister, wanna buy an uncandled egg?"
