Man Posing As American Artworks Salesman Fakes Suicide

February 25, 1912--Here's a strange one. A man who had been posing as a Coshocton based American Artworks salesman passed bad checks as he worked his way south. With police hot on his trail, the man faked a suicide jump in Spencer, NC. The jump looked convincing for a short period of time as the man later landed in the pokey.
