Feb. 8, 1912--If you read yesterday's entry about mayoral power, here's another. A Coshocton man severely assaulted his wife, was brought before the mayor, and punished. The justice doled out by the mayor? A $10 fine. The same $10 fine another man received for stealing a coat.
