Feb. 11, 1912--Here's one of those moments when you realize how easy our lives have become.
This man, dutifully shoveling coal to stoke up his home's furnace, lets the pressure build a little too much...and KABLAM...he ends up with a face of hot coal and steaming water.
With today's lifestyle, could you imagine shoveling coal into your furnace? I don't like going into the basement...let alone the thought of shoveling coal while I'm down there. It would be a three dog night in this household.
